Looking in the Windows registry by checking also the "Whole string", ie, the difference leads to a search than without this voice?
Question :
Sometimes I am forced to manually remove old installations remaining items from the Windows Registry.
Now, when I start the search for the keys to remove, are always taken from the question whether or not to select checkbox entire string .
Someone would be kind enough to explain the difference between the two search options (with or without check), so that for once I can clear up this doubt?
Since this is relatively delicate, now I trust you, the members of this authoritative forum, for whom I have great esteem.
Thank you.
Answer :
Basically, trying his voice checked, you will be returned only those elements that contain only as tried.
For example, looking in the register references to the word DISK , you will be returned all the results where the word is present, even within other complex words, such as DiskTitleViewer , however, if the voice cues entire string , you'll have the results where there is only the word Disk .
