The Trojans, Peskyspy renamed by Symantec, is able to record your VoIP conversations in MP3 format and send them to a third party via the Internet.
The trojan is able to bypass cryptographic protections in during Skype conversations: the aim has been achieved simply by intercepting the audio stream in transit from your sound card. So this is not a weakness of Skype itself, Symantec precise, but rather a problem caused by the operating system in general.
