Microsoft was the word, if not ahead of its time.
Tuesday of last week, the group had anticipated it to all beta testers involved in the assessment of Microsoft Security Essentials that the product would come to the final version "in the coming weeks." And so it was.

The GUI does not appear to have undergone significant changes and, in general, the differences compared to that proposed with Preliminary compilation seem minimal.
The main novelty is the fact that, while the beta was limited to the first 75 000 users, the new build is freely installed by anyone with an "authentic" version of Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
The installation procedure can be downloaded from here. The setup is able to install the antivirus on a system that is not equipped with, or override a possible preliminary version already present.
