The surprise that users of Microsoft products found in the egg is certainly of great value. The company has released the evening of Tuesday, the usual security bulletin, which is particularly provided this month: 8 different updates made to resolve problems at the dangerous variable in Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, and Forefront Edge Security .

The risks for those who leave out? Remote code execution, denial of service and privilege escalation.

The first of the month update resolves four problems that afflict both WordPad (the limited text editor that supports all versions of Windows) and Office Text Converters component that accompanies the Microsoft office suite.

The problem could allow a hostile user to wrap a text document invalid who, when opened on a system not properly updated, trigger remote code execution, allowing the attacker can install malware or take full control of the computer through the Internet.
