The generation of thumbnails of video files in Windows XP has a serious defect: it is created by extrapolating the first frame of the video.
Unfortunately, in most cases, the first frame of the video file is black, and our folders are covered with squares blacks.
With a few clicks we can resolve the matter. First, download the file related to the article and extract it to any folder.
Open the file disable_default_thumbnail_generator.bat and confirm with Ok to the confirmation of successful transaction. We have temporarily disabled the generation of thumbnails.
Launch MatroskaSplitter.exe and install the software, leaving the default settings.
Once installed Haali, open the Start menu , let's move on All Programs , then Haali Media Splitter and click on Media Splitter Settings .
